Isn’t it amazing how things go full circle, but just get a bit better each time around? Remember when no one thought to use anything but cloth diapers? Well, now they are back but so much better! Anyone with a baby or knows someone who’s expecting, do yourself a favor and check out a great website, www.jackbenatural.com. (I know, how cute is that name?!?) You’ll find all kinds of great information on the many options in environmentally friendly diapers, and great customer service, too. Our landfills will thank you!
I ran into a great resource on Dr. Oz’s Real Age website. It is a very intricate recipe search for all the recipes on the site, and it includes filters such as gluten-free, sugar-free, etc. Very handy! To check it out, click here.
Did anybody see the sneak preview of Jamie Oliver’s show this past Sunday night? It was….. well, amazing and scary and frustrating and inspiring all in one. The 2-hour show premieres tomorrow night, Friday, March 26th at 8:00 on ABC. I think it’s definitely worth a watch. It really makes you see what we are doing to ourselves and our kids without really being aware of it. Good information, good stories, and Jamie is pretty fun to watch.
I sure hope he can make enough noise about this issue to really help. Although I am typically not much of a “joiner”, I have signed Jamie’s petition that he will eventually take to the White House to help facilitate change in the food programs at school, etc. If you are interested in finding out more about his program and how you can get involved, check out his website by clicking here.
If you are a fan of the Dr. Oz show, or enjoyed seeing him on Oprah the last few years, you should enjoy his website. He has a lot of really good information on all kinds of health issues, weight loss, fitness, as well as all the topics addressed on his show. Check out his site at: http://www.doctoroz.com/.
